Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First

Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 292

Title:          Positive Thinking For Better Health And Well-being

Good health and wellness, don't we all crave them? Don't we all desire them from the depths of our hearts? Don't we go all out to restore ourselves to good health when we have any health challenge?

But the question is can a positive attitude and hopeful outlook really improve health and wellness?

It may seem like a long shot but more and more evidence is finding that positive thinkers have better overall health and well being.

Studies show that people with optimistic personality traits live a healthier life, and there is simply no way to deny that the connection between mind and body wellness is a powerful thing.

Everything that we experience is absorbed in a way that has been influenced by our entire lives.

What we see, what we hear, what we feel. All of these come together to form the human experience.

More than just our immediate perception of the world around us, it becomes ingrained in our subconscious.

Repeated patterns of behavior that result in either reward or punishment create guidelines for how we interact with our reality.

These habitual patterns are the fabric of our subconscious and when repetition wears patterns of behavior into our neural pathways, our very perception of reality may be altered.

Think of someone you know who lives every day absorbed in a pessimistic attitude.

A negative outlook and attitude builds stress and deteriorates your mental well being.

Stress has a way of destroying your body from the inside out. Living with chronic illness, stress and pain affects the very fiber of our being - the soul.

Some of the measured health benefits of positive thinking include:

· Lower rates of depression and tension
· Lower stress levels
· Improved coping skills
· Greater psychological and physical health and well-being
· Greater resistance to illness including cancer
· Longer life span

Research confirms that your thoughts can either improve or dampen your immune system and a recent study shows that favorable states of gratitude or joy appeared to step-up vitality and protect against negative health symptoms.

This study advises that having positive self-esteem helps temper the damaging effects of unhappy emotions on a person's health.

It's a proven fact that we are what we think.

Take steps today to a better health by practicing positive mindedness

Wednesday                            6th June 2018 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 265 Title:           18 Things I Wish Someone Told Me When I Was 18 This morning I was reading a book at my favorite beach-side coffee shop when an 18-year-old kid sat down next to me and said, “That’s a great read, ain’t it?”  So we started chatting. He told me he was getting ready to graduate from high school in a couple of weeks and then immediately starting his college career in the fall.  “But I have no clue what I want to do with my life,” he said.  “Right now I’m just going with the flow.” And then, with eager, honest eyes, he began asking me one question after the next: “What do you do for a livi...

Morning Vibes With Dr Jerry - The First-Episode 87/Tomorrow Is Not Promised

Thursday    30th November 2017 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 87 Title:          Tomorrow Is Not Promised, Live In The Now!! I have taken a look at how people postpone for tomorrow what they can do today and it really bothers me. It bothers me, not because I am not a believer in planning for tomorrow or even next tomorrow but because the thought process behind the action is that of saying that we have all the time in the world and so there's no reason to hurry. It is this thought process that has left many a man unable to fulfill their destinies and a whole number of others unable to finish the projects that they have started. The story is told of the man who was the head of the family and was expected to pass information about the family to the younger ones, but he kept pushing it forward. Each time the young ones asked for info...
