Yesterday I was reading an enlightening write up by someone on the matter of slavery and I came across this quote “I freed a thousand slaves. I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves.” ---Harriet Tubman. And this took me back to the History of Slave Trade as I studied it in the High School. I remembered how in the first revolt of slaves against their Masters, some of the slaves who thought they were "enjoying in their slavery" refused to join the revolt and actually sabotaged the effort of the leaders which made them lose their lives.
