Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First

Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 17

Title:          Your Worst Bullies 3 - Your Inactions!

The last of the worst bullies for any man or woman is his/her "Inactions" I grew up knowing that what distinguishes the rich from the poor is a 6-letter word "action". It is not for nought that the maxim has it "Action is everything" and this is tied to how our brains are wired. It is said that the spirit may be willing but the flesh is weak, but those who have conquered life have learnt to move the flesh in its weakness and subject it to the willing spirit. Those who watch their dreams evaporate like the early morning dew when the sun comes out are those who refuse to submit the unwilling body to the willing spirit. Their inactions constitute their worst bully. They wake up daily determined to do something to move their lives forward, but at the slightest excuse, they renege on the promise they made to themselves and that is their undoing. Just like facing your physical bully directly and calling off its bluff, if you are being bullied by inactions, then there is only one thing to do, call of its bluff. The way to do that is to wake up with a determination and a promise and then go ahead to execute that no matter how you are feeling, don't give in to any excuse, search and locate just one reason why what needs to be done has to be done. Do that and your bully shall take quantum leap far away from you.

Wednesday                            6th June 2018 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 265 Title:           18 Things I Wish Someone Told Me When I Was 18 This morning I was reading a book at my favorite beach-side coffee shop when an 18-year-old kid sat down next to me and said, “That’s a great read, ain’t it?”  So we started chatting. He told me he was getting ready to graduate from high school in a couple of weeks and then immediately starting his college career in the fall.  “But I have no clue what I want to do with my life,” he said.  “Right now I’m just going with the flow.” And then, with eager, honest eyes, he began asking me one question after the next: “What do you do for a livi...
