Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First

Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 110

Title:          The Season Of Festivities!!!

It is that time of year when there is so much celebration all over the place. The Christmas celebration, the Boxing Day celebration, the New Year celebration. It is also the time when people get killed, maimed or disabled. And these result from either over indulgence or some acts of carelessness. Most road traffic accidents that are fatal happen around this time, either because the driver had taken one too many cups of alcoholic drink and thus became "drunk on the wheel" or the car/bus/lorry being used to convey people from one point to another has some faults that were not rectified before the journey was embarked upon. Trying to catch up with making the  most money this season is also another reason that causes death on the roads, because the Driver has speed beyond the limits to make a usual 6 hour journey in 4 hours, in which case he might not even have any rest before proceeding on the next journey; these are all man- made causes of accidents on the roads that most  times take the lives of other people. On the other side of the divide is the visit to the 'VILLAGE'. Much as it is advisable to visit the village once in a while especially this season which is when most persons have the time to travel, but always take your sense with you when you travel to your village. By now you should be in a position to characterize your village,  whether it is a happy-to-see you village or a happy-but-sad-to-see you village. You should mind what you eat in the village, who you hang out with to have a bottle or two, what fights you pick, who you exchange hot words with and all that. It is not a time to go and start struggling over a parcel of land with that your Father's brother who is not your Uncle, people have killed others (remote control) because of parcels of land that were there before they came on earth and would be left behind by them when they are gone no matter how old they live to be. When they say it is a dangerous world out there, this season is more dangerous than others. And so let everything be done in moderation. Be witty but not saucy, be gentle as a dove but wiser than the serpent, test all the spirits and know if they are of the Lord because so many evil spirits have entered the world, listen to the birds when they chirp in the morning because there is a message with those chirpings and if you strain your ears very well, you would surely hear it. Always be attentive to your environment, if you listen closely, you would surely hear the movement of the heel of the ant as she makes her way to the ant hill. When the cock crows, watch the time and when your stay is over, be on your way back to your Station with gratitude to God. It is my wish that you have wonderful celebrations this season, so let me wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Morning Vibes With Dr Jerry - The First-Episode 87/Tomorrow Is Not Promised

Thursday    30th November 2017 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 87 Title:          Tomorrow Is Not Promised, Live In The Now!! I have taken a look at how people postpone for tomorrow what they can do today and it really bothers me. It bothers me, not because I am not a believer in planning for tomorrow or even next tomorrow but because the thought process behind the action is that of saying that we have all the time in the world and so there's no reason to hurry. It is this thought process that has left many a man unable to fulfill their destinies and a whole number of others unable to finish the projects that they have started. The story is told of the man who was the head of the family and was expected to pass information about the family to the younger ones, but he kept pushing it forward. Each time the young ones asked for info...

Wednesday                            6th June 2018 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 265 Title:           18 Things I Wish Someone Told Me When I Was 18 This morning I was reading a book at my favorite beach-side coffee shop when an 18-year-old kid sat down next to me and said, “That’s a great read, ain’t it?”  So we started chatting. He told me he was getting ready to graduate from high school in a couple of weeks and then immediately starting his college career in the fall.  “But I have no clue what I want to do with my life,” he said.  “Right now I’m just going with the flow.” And then, with eager, honest eyes, he began asking me one question after the next: “What do you do for a livi...
