Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First

Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 116

Title:          You're Not Too Old To Be A Success!!!

Liberia's George Weah has once again proven that to succeed in life, one has to put on a coat of many colours and actually wear it. That coat should have the colour of persistence and perseverance on it, that of tenacity, that of having a purpose and a goal, that of perspiration and patience. He was a Secondary School dropout who found favour with his feet and became an International Star through Football, but then when he was done with football and wanted to contribute to his Country's development, he contested for the Nation's highest office - Liberia's President and that was when he knew that though he was very popular locally and internationally but there were certain basics that were missing in his life and for which he needed to make amends. He was aged 39 at the time, so he lost in that election, learnt his lessons and went back to School. At 41 he sat for and passed his Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, got admitted into the University where he took a Bachelor's Degree at 45, and then went back and obtained a Master's Degree at 47. These boosted his confidence and image, which made it possible for him to be elected into the Liberian Senate in 2014 at the age of 48. Just about now, the results of the latest Presidential election conducted in Liberia are indicating that unless something disastrous gives, Weah is on his way to becoming Liberia's new President and he is 51 years of age. In 12 years George Weah picked himself, dusted his books, took degrees that boosted his personal and public images and today he is standing tall amongst the comity of very important persons of this world. Who says, your story is over? If the examples of those who bettered their lots in life through bettering themselves did not get to you because they are far removed from your Continent, let George Weah's story make you begin to dance a new dance. A new year is on its way in, you simply have to start doing things in a new way if you want to have another better story.

Morning Vibes With Dr Jerry - The First-Episode 87/Tomorrow Is Not Promised

Thursday    30th November 2017 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 87 Title:          Tomorrow Is Not Promised, Live In The Now!! I have taken a look at how people postpone for tomorrow what they can do today and it really bothers me. It bothers me, not because I am not a believer in planning for tomorrow or even next tomorrow but because the thought process behind the action is that of saying that we have all the time in the world and so there's no reason to hurry. It is this thought process that has left many a man unable to fulfill their destinies and a whole number of others unable to finish the projects that they have started. The story is told of the man who was the head of the family and was expected to pass information about the family to the younger ones, but he kept pushing it forward. Each time the young ones asked for info...

He told me he was getting ready to graduate from high school in a couple of weeks and then immediately starting his college career in the fall.  “But I have no clue what I want to do with my life,” he said.  “Right now I’m just going with the flow.” And then, with eager, honest eyes, he began asking me one question after the next: “What do you do for a livi...
