Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First

Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 222

Title:          When Life Brings You Down, Keep Your Attitude UP!

Every once in a while, I get an email that kinda laments about life and the process of living and I like to share such with you my dear subscriber and follower for the sole purpose of lifting you up from the doldrums just in case that is where you have found yourself.

This email is not any different and this is how it began

“I’m exhausted and so very tired of all the anxiety, negativity and stress. Too often my mind is consumed with draining thoughts, and every muscle in my body seems tense. It hurts. I don’t want to feel this way anymore. I don’t want to feel like I live in a whirlwind of constant pressure and exhaustion. I don’t want to just ‘get by’ day to day, I want to start living…”

Those are the opening lines of a story one of my subscribers shared with me over the past week

She went on to tell me that expecting negative things to happen has been her way of approaching life.

If you can relate in any way with this story at all, then it’s time to revamp your mindset.

The fact that our minds are incredibly powerful needs to be constantly reiterated for the purpose of understanding.

They can bring us down or lift us up at a moment’s notice.
How we think about things literally changes everything!

And it's not about the mundane things of life, it's also about our lives - our health, our wealth, our prosperity, our relationships, our careers, our business, just name it.

Our thoughts have phenomenal consequences on these parts and sides of ours.

Whenever I’m coaching someone who’s struggling in the trenches, I gracefully shift their focus from what they don’t want to what they DO want.

I remind them that what you focus on grows stronger in your life, and that the best time to focus on the positive and take responsibility for your happiness is when you don’t feel like it.
Because that’s when doing so can make the biggest difference.

You may not be responsible for everything that happened to you in the past, or everything that's happening to you right now, but you need to be responsible for undoing the thinking patterns these circumstance create.

It’s about thinking better so you can ultimately live better.

The key is to understand that no matter what happens, you can choose your response, which dictates pretty much everything that happens next.

Truly, the greatest weapon you have against anxiety, negativity and stress is your ability to choose one present thought over another—to train your mind to make the best of what you’ve got in front of you, even when it’s far less than you expected.

Yes, YOU CAN change the way you think!  And once you do, you can master a new way to be.

And that’s why we made THINKING BETTER the foundation of our 1st quarter activities in this 2018.

Wednesday                            6th June 2018 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 265 Title:           18 Things I Wish Someone Told Me When I Was 18 This morning I was reading a book at my favorite beach-side coffee shop when an 18-year-old kid sat down next to me and said, “That’s a great read, ain’t it?”  So we started chatting. Morning Vibes With Dr Jerry - The First-Episode 87/Tomorrow Is Not Promised

Thursday    30th November 2017 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 87 Title:          Tomorrow Is Not Promised, Live In The Now!! I have taken a look at how people postpone for tomorrow what they can do today and it really bothers me. It bothers me, not because I am not a believer in planning for tomorrow or even next tomorrow but because the thought process behind the action is that of saying that we have all the time in the world and so there's no reason to hurry. It is this thought process that has left many a man unable to fulfill their destinies and a whole number of others unable to finish the projects that they have started. The story is told of the man who was the head of the family and was expected to pass information about the family to the younger ones, but he kept pushing it forward. Each time the young ones asked for info...
