Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First

Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 69

Title:          There Is No State Of Absolute Nothingness!!

There was famine in the land so much so that people were dying from hunger and starvation on daily basis. Every day corpses littered the streets of the Community. As a widow with an only son, she had made every effort to weather the storm caused by the famine, she had rationed the oil and flour she had in such a way that as she reasoned, it was better to have a little every day than to eat it all once and starve to death. She had managed her resources well. Then she was left with the last portion and as trepidation filled her heart as to what will happen when she and her son had had the last portion, help came her way. God directed the feetsteps of His Servant and he happened on her and demanded that she prepare food for him with her last resource. She was filled with fear, she wondered who he was but out of her fear came some form of courage, she reasoned that this man who spoke with authority must know what he was saying and doing and so she went in and thrusting all doubt aside, prepared the last meal for the man that came to her. The man ate to his satisfaction, thanked her profusely, proclaimed a blessing on her and her son and took his leave. When it was time to prepare her daily meal with her son, she went into her kitchen, opened the flour container and behold it was filled to the brim; the gallon of oil was also filled to the brim and infact running over; thus not only did they eat that meal but they also ate many more meals everyday until the famine was over and all she did was trust in the word of a man she didn't know but who told her "thus said the Lord". Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that lead us to believe that the world had finally come to an end, situations that we describe as being hopeless and in which we feel helpless and then all we can imagine are destruction, chaos and anarchy; despair takes the better part of us and we find no reason to praise not to talk of pray. That is the state of absolute nothingness when there is nothing left to hold onto and all the person concerned is waiting for is death. But my good friend, today I want to tell you that "miracles still happen" they may take a while to occur but they do occur. I am a living testament of this saying. For as long as a man is still alive, there can never be a state of absolute nothingness because since hope is the last thing to go, there is always a remnant of hope left behind if only we can lift up our heads and exercise some little faith even as small as the mustard seed; there will always be light at the end of the very dark tunnel, but are we looking? are we observing? are we watching? are we willing to wait it out? When despair sets in, don't be in rush to make any decision, that could be detrimental; give room for comfort to set in and then reach back to your inner man, find strength to move on from the inside, it pays greater dividend. Are you at your tether's end, hang in there, there is a God above, He will rescue you just when all hope is lost.

Wednesday                            6th June 2018 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 265 Title:           18 Things I Wish Someone Told Me When I Was 18 This morning I was reading a book at my favorite beach-side coffee shop when an 18-year-old kid sat down next to me and said, “That’s a great read, ain’t it?”  So we started chatting. He told me he was getting ready to graduate from high school in a couple of weeks and then immediately starting his college career in the fall.  “But I have no clue what I want to do with my life,” he said.  “Right now I’m just going with the flow.” And then, with eager, honest eyes, he began asking me one question after the next: “What do you do for a livi...

Morning Vibes With Dr Jerry - The First-Episode 87/Tomorrow Is Not Promised

Thursday    30th November 2017 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 87 Title:          Tomorrow Is Not Promised, Live In The Now!! I have taken a look at how people postpone for tomorrow what they can do today and it really bothers me. It bothers me, not because I am not a believer in planning for tomorrow or even next tomorrow but because the thought process behind the action is that of saying that we have all the time in the world and so there's no reason to hurry. It is this thought process that has left many a man unable to fulfill their destinies and a whole number of others unable to finish the projects that they have started. The story is told of the man who was the head of the family and was expected to pass information about the family to the younger ones, but he kept pushing it forward. Each time the young ones asked for info...
