Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First

Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 66

Title:          Plan Your Work And Work Your Plan!

It has been said times without number that he who fails to plan has already planned to fail and that is the basic truth anyways because no man who goes to war without a strategy ever wins that war. War is not won by rhetoric but by plan and strategies. Be that as it may, it is however important to point out that the plan that works is the plan that is worked on. Now, that's not a mix of semantics there but a pointer to the fact that even though many persons do make plans on how to go about getting what they desire most in life, but not all persons ever work their plans. Take the case of Mr. Tenten for example, he grew up in a foster home because both of his parents had died accidentally the same day and not having any known living relatives, he was given out by the Government Agency responsible for looking after orphans. He was 6 years old when he was adopted by the caring family that took him in, but even as young as he was then, he already had an opinion of his own and knew just what he wanted to be in life - a Music Star - he adopted Michael Jackson as his music idol and role model. In the Primary School, whenever it was time for break, while other pupils were busy chasing themselves all over the School, Tenten would retire to some corner of the school and be practicing with imaginary flutes, trumpets, saxophones, drums and also be humming to himself whatever tunes came into his head. He was very frugal and saved part of his weekly allowance given him by his "Parents" and during holidays, he would apprentice himself to a Musical School where he learnt how to play the instruments especially Guitar, saxophone and the drums. In Junior High, he formed a group of 5 young boys of similar interests (average age 12) and they started contributing towards forming a band. He was the arrow head of the group and so naturally became the Lead Vocalist, Guitarist and Saxophonist; and they started making small time music. His first lyrics were penned by him and dedicated to his dead parents. In Senior high, the Group (Band) was already being recognized and invited for small town gigs and all that; but they had a break when they were asked to play at the School's Graduation Ceremony/Dinner in which Tenten and his Band members were also amongst the Graduands. Tenten and his mates felt that their break was about to happen and so they prepared for the big day with all the hunger for stardom as they could muster and on that night, they beat themselves in their own game. The audience clapped, waved, danced to almost all their beats - the blending between them was legendary, they never missed a step, a voice, a tone or even a beat, everything worked in "perfect harmony" infact at the end of their appearance, the ovation that rose from the audience literally removed the roof over the building and Tenten and his mates were walking on the air waves. In the audience were a number of Artist Hunters who are always on the lookout for talents that need to be developed further, 6 of them swooped on Tenten and his Band Members with various offers and promises. The Band needed time to process the offers and promises and make decisions of continuity or going solo. After a deep reflection, the Band Members decided to band together and they chose one of the Hunters and signed a recording contract with him and there started their rise to the top. After a few successful hits with the Band, Tenten decided to go solo - that was always his dream but he needed a platform to start out with and of course he was immediately sucked in by a major Recording Label and his first single hit the world like a tornado, the sales from that single made Tenten a Multi-millionaire without looking backwards and he was just 25 years old. He went on to do other records that sold out even before they were released; did a number of colabos too and was worth more than he ever thought possible while growing up. He was now a Music Star as he had dreamt and worked on and then to crown all his efforts, he was recognized by the Industry and given a Grammy Award. On the night he received the award, he was asked what his secret was that in such a short space of time he was already making waves in the world and he told the audience that he not only made plans right from when he was very young and tender to be what he wanted to be, but he did not just leave it there, he worked the plans and that is what led him to this wild success he is enjoying. So, my dear reader, did you make any plans at the beginning of this year 2017 to do something that you have not done before? How far have you come towards realizing that? Did you work your plan? or did you make the plan and then allowed it to be guided by the elements and vagaries of the weather? When you make a plan and work that plan, chances that you would be successful under God are higher than 99%. That's a lesson for you or someone you know.

Morning Vibes With Dr Jerry - The First-Episode 87/Tomorrow Is Not Promised

Thursday    30th November 2017 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 87 Title:          Tomorrow Is Not Promised, Live In The Now!! I have taken a look at how people postpone for tomorrow what they can do today and it really bothers me. It bothers me, not because I am not a believer in planning for tomorrow or even next tomorrow but because the thought process behind the action is that of saying that we have all the time in the world and so there's no reason to hurry. It is this thought process that has left many a man unable to fulfill their destinies and a whole number of others unable to finish the projects that they have started. The story is told of the man who was the head of the family and was expected to pass information about the family to the younger ones, but he kept pushing it forward. Each time the young ones asked for info...
