Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First

Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 89

Title:          Are You At Your Wits End?

Sometimes things happen and then we think it is the end of the world, but it turns out it is not. Miracles still do happen you know but they don't come prepared. They are called miracles because they are Heaven's indescribable intervention in the minute affairs of men. They cannot be bought neither can they be treated as merchandise. Theo had been at the same job for close to 10 years, and he made great efforts at work in order not to be found wanting. He was working the job but the job was headed no where, he had not had any promotion for like 5 years and whenever he raised the issue of a salary increment with his direct Boss, he always got the same answer, if you are not happy, you can resign. He thought of resigning so many times but was always unable to act it out because he was not sure he could get another job that can help him to keep body and soul together. He was always afraid of the unknown, not only for himself but for his wife and 3 beautiful kids. But as Providence would have it, he came to work one morning and instead of being allowed to enter his office and take his usual seat, he was handed a letter, he was petrified when he received the letter, he hoped that his worst night mare was not about to start but he was wrong; the letter was one of termination of appointment, his hands were shaking while trying to pry open the envelop that contained the letter and on reading the title of the letter, he nearly urinated in his pants and rushed to the convenience to ease himself. He was led by the Security detail to collect his personal belongings and then taken to the Accounts to pick up his severance pay and escorted out of the building. Theo felt that his world had come to a stand still because in the 10 years that he worked with and for that Company, he did not improve on himself in any way, no professional certifications, no skills acquired, he just worked and worked. He knew that to get another job now would be tough since there are better equipped persons out there in his field of endeavour than him. He felt he had been used and dumped by the Company and he was quite bitter about it; he reasoned that if he renewed his rent for one year, the money that he was paid won't do much again. He was at his wits end and did not know where next to turn. Although we don’t like to admit it, we all occasionally run into dead-end places in our lives where we don’t know what to say, what to do, where to turn, or even how to pray.  Sometimes it seems like we’ve hit a dead-end — in other words, it seems like everything is finished, over, and done with! If you’ve ever been in a place like this, you know what a hard place this can be! That was where Theo found himself. After renewing his rent for another one year, he was left with an amount that wasn't even enough to pay his Children's School Fees. He needed to find another job and fast too. So he dusted up his CV, polished it and started going from one office to another, submitting his CV. He got invited to a number of interviews but after 6 months, nothing concrete had jelled. Then one day after his morning devotion, a light of some sort shined on him and he received an inspiration, so he did a SWOT analysis on himself and decided to work on his strengths and one of them was that he was a dogged fighter that does not easily give up. He went to the internet and asked that question that many ask "How can I make money on the internet?". There were tons of articles on how to make money from the internet, but he chose about 10 of them, read through them all, while taking notes and then something happened in him, he decided he wanted to start DROP-SHIPPING. In a matter of 2 months, Theo was making twice over what he earned as salary at his former place and yet he was not doing as hard a job as he worked before. Not only that, but he was able to spend more time with his family and also introduced his wife to his business and together they became an unbeatable pair and team. Do you think you have reached a dead end, a cul-de-sac?, you don't know what to do, where to turn to and even what to tell God? take a second look around you, there's a lee way, find it!

Wednesday                            6th June 2018 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 265 Title:           18 Things I Wish Someone Told Me When I Was 18 This morning I was reading a book at my favorite beach-side coffee shop when an 18-year-old kid sat down next to me and said, “That’s a great read, ain’t it?”  So we started chatting. Morning Vibes With Dr Jerry - The First-Episode 87/Tomorrow Is Not Promised

Thursday    30th November 2017 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 87 Title:          Tomorrow Is Not Promised, Live In The Now!! I have taken a look at how people postpone for tomorrow what they can do today and it really bothers me. It bothers me, not because I am not a believer in planning for tomorrow or even next tomorrow but because the thought process behind the action is that of saying that we have all the time in the world and so there's no reason to hurry. It is this thought process that has left many a man unable to fulfill their destinies and a whole number of others unable to finish the projects that they have started. The story is told of the man who was the head of the family and was expected to pass information about the family to the younger ones, but he kept pushing it forward. Each time the young ones asked for info...
