Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First

Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 36

Title:          You Can Live Your Dreams, Never Give Up!!

In the Episode 35 of our Podcast yesterday, I spoke on the topic "# Never Say Never!!". The statement I made towards the end of that broadcast to wit  "And until the final whistle is blown, the game is still open and any team can still win it" really resonated with many of our readers and they added their own quotes as well. But that is the basic truth anyways. A lot of people give up so easily in life, quoting one outdated adage or the other. I know some people who tell me when I ask them why they are not utilizing their full potential that "o memere ma chi ekweghi onye uta atala ya" an igbo saying which translated means "those who try severally and fail to make progress, do not have the support of the gods and should not be blamed" can you just imagine that? Which "god" would stand in the way of progress of its believer? Is it not the place of the god to ensure that its' believer progresses and becomes a shining example in the land to lead other citizens to that god? But then men are quick to find reasons and excuses to justify their inadequacies and inefficiencies and so they blame their inability to move forward on their gods. Don't we all have dreams? Growing up (for grown ups) didn't we dream of owning the world? didn't we dream of visiting foreign countries? didn't we dream of having loads of cash that we shall become Father Christmas on daily basis? didn't we dream of populating the whole earth with the products of our loins and ensuring that each of them is settled before we settle finally? what did we not dream of? so, now that you have grown up, what has happened to your dreams? Have they faded into the distance behind that you cannot even visualize them again? have you become so buffeted by the vagaries and vicissitudes of life that you have forgotten that you once had such dreams? Are you living a life of "management" hoping that your kids shall live that life you are unable to live, meaning that you want to live your life through your kids? Everyone of us has just one life to live, if you fail to live yours, don't force another to live it for you. let your kids live their own lives that they were born to live. However, today I want to remind you that though the dreamer may die, but the dream usually lives on because someone somewhere will catch it and run with it but while you are still here on planet earth, you can still live that life you dreamt of, that life you visualized growing up. This is not a mere talk, no, I have been through it myself and am speaking from a point of authority to tell you that if you persist, if you are consistent, if you do not give up on yourself, your dream life can be yours to live. It takes the whole of you to be you. Take your dream with you, anywhere you are going and hold tight unto it while doing the needful and you shall arrive at your eldorado.

Wednesday                            6th June 2018 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 265 Title:           18 Things I Wish Someone Told Me When I Was 18 This morning I was reading a book at my favorite beach-side coffee shop when an 18-year-old kid sat down next to me and said, “That’s a great read, ain’t it?”  So we started chatting. He told me he was getting ready to graduate from high school in a couple of weeks and then immediately starting his college career in the fall.  “But I have no clue what I want to do with my life,” he said.  “Right now I’m just going with the flow.” And then, with eager, honest eyes, he began asking me one question after the next: “What do you do for a livi...

Morning Vibes With Dr Jerry - The First-Episode 87/Tomorrow Is Not Promised

Thursday    30th November 2017 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 87 Title:          Tomorrow Is Not Promised, Live In The Now!! I have taken a look at how people postpone for tomorrow what they can do today and it really bothers me. It bothers me, not because I am not a believer in planning for tomorrow or even next tomorrow but because the thought process behind the action is that of saying that we have all the time in the world and so there's no reason to hurry. It is this thought process that has left many a man unable to fulfill their destinies and a whole number of others unable to finish the projects that they have started. The story is told of the man who was the head of the family and was expected to pass information about the family to the younger ones, but he kept pushing it forward. Each time the young ones asked for info...
