Title: Success
Is Not Final Unless You've Stopped Dreaming!!
Dreams
are diverse and plentiful and the dreamer is not limited to only one dream.
There are so many departments of life that need to be appropriately managed to
make them successful - health, wealth, relationships, family, career, profession,
social currency, e.t.c. and so any person who desires to really have a good
life, should strive to be successful in all the aforementioned departments and
others not mentioned here as well. This means that one can be successful in
family life and fail in career; one can be successful in public life and fail
in family life and so on. As one goes through life, one increasingly finds out
that success is not really limited, each stage in life throws up certain
opportunities that if cashed in would turn around the fortunes of the person
involved. Take for instance, in the 70s and 80s, there was no internet
anywhere, people depended on Post Office Boxes, Land Life Telephones, Power
generated from the National Grid, Physical appearance in a market or
supermarket to make a purchase or sell something . ......... but with the
advent of the internet, emails have taken over the job of Post Offices and the
beauty of it is that email delivery is instant unlike a letter posted that
could take up to 5 days to be delivered depending on the destination; cell
phones have taken over the land lines, energy and power are being generated
through the use of solar panels and all that; the new dream for many a man now
is how to acquire the latest gadget to make life easier in this digital age and
anyone that makes that happen for him would be said to be successful with
regards to being internet savvy. So, today I am bringing your way this message
"success is not final, unless you have stopped dreaming" You cannot
say because you have become a Professor in your chosen (or forced) field of
study, that then makes you a Professor in other fields - nah; if you dream of
being a Professor in another field, then you simply have to get down to the
basics and learn the rudiments of that other profession. I know a man who is a
Medical Doctor, a Chartered Accountant, a Lawyer and a Chartered Administrator
and he is practicing all four professions, to have engaged in these four
professions, he must have had different dreams at different times and worked on
them to actualize his dreams; today he is a fulfilled man living the life of
his dreams. Don't limit yourself in dreaming, dream wide, dream long, dream
deep but get out of the dream and make it happen, that is what success is all
about.
