Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First
Hello and welcome to
#MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 90
Title: The
Difference Between Impossible And Possible Is Inside Of YOU!!
His
Kingdom was under threat by a war lord who had everything that warriors of
those days used to have. He was tall, and huge, one arm of his was more than 6
feet long, he had shields all over his body, not one part of his body was
exposed except for the space between his two eyes - his forehead. So he led his
Nation's Army to war against this King and his Kingdom. The King marshaled out
all his Generals and Commanders of different Platoons and Units and asked them
to go defend their land but not one General was in the mind of going out
against the Giant. Whenever the Giant opened his mouth to threaten and call on
the King to show forth himself, not only the King's heart but the hearts of all
the Generals and Soldiers melted inside of them, they were sore afraid and
wondered why God should allow them to face this Giant and his Army. They had
the word IMPOSSIBLE written all over their minds, they felt lost and hopeless
in the present situation and were just about conceding defeat, which would have
meant them being carted away in droves as slaves. Then came on stage one raw,
inexperienced young boy who challenged the Giant to a duet; the King and his Soldiers
tried to dissuade the young man from picking up offence with the Giant but the
boy told them not to worry; he gave them a vivid recapture of how he had dealt
with lions that tried to devour his sheep, how he had killed them with bare
hands and thereby reclaiming his sheep and told them to trust him to do to the
same to that Giant that is threatening his people and his land. Finally they
succumbed to his sweet talk but decided to gird him with all the weapons of
war. The young boy felt very clumsy in that girdle and decided to drop all of
them and be as free as air. When the Giant saw the young boy approaching him,
he derided the King and his Soldiers, asking them how they would have allowed
such a young boy to come and face him when they who have all the weapons of
warfare are not able to face him. He claimed that he was going to deal
ruthlessly with the boy and that they would become his slaves thereafter; but
just as he was still busy quaffing and poking fun at the King and his Soldiers,
the young boy took a stone, fixed it in his catapult and aimed at the forehead
of the Giant, one fling, one heavy shot and the Giant crash landed with hands
akimbo, the young boy rushed to the Giant, took his sword and cut off his head;
he declared victory to his people and that was when the King's soldiers had the
liver to chase after the army of the Giant who were already in retreat because
their leader had been killed by a mere boy. If you are familiar with the
Scriptures, you would know that this is the story of David and Goliat. While
the King was lily-livered, David had great courage, confidence in his God and
knew that everything is POSSIBLE. He was carefree, raw, unencumbered and
unburdened. Where the King and his Soldiers saw an impossibility, David saw a
possibility and never allowed anyone to douse his tempo nor derail his action.
He knew what he wanted to do, he knew whose he was and then he just had to do
it. How about you? Does the word impossible frequently flow from your mouth? Do
you see mountains when challenges come your way? This is an opportunity to
change your thinking and your confession. Today, be like David
