Title: Decide Today
Who You Will Become
This
is the 1st week of the New Year 2018 (How really new?) and so it is expected
that all persons (irrespective of their ages) are taking decisions on certain
aspects of their lives. Most of those decisions are summed up in what is termed
- New Year Resolution. Research has shown that 90% of the people who make
certain new year resolutions give up on them within the first 4 weeks of the
new year and this is simply become what most people regard as resolutions are
really desires which they want to bring to bear on them and around them or fun
things they WISH to see happen. So the resolutions are merely expressed wishes
and we all know that if any wish takes a long time to manifest, it loses
flavour and taste in the mouth of the "wisher". A lot of people who
fail at keeping their new year resolutions do so because they are not really
resolving anything in themselves and so they do not really get committed to
what they want. If you really want to be a part of those who DO what they have
resolved at the beginning of the year and not just SAY it (talk is cheap you
know) then you NEED to get committed to what you want. One major thing to get
committed to as this year unfolds and you need to decide on it TODAY is
"Who Will You Become In 2018?" You might think that this is a funny
proposition because of course you are who you are, right? WRONG! If who you
were in 2017 did not bring the right dividends your way, then you need to
assume another personality for 2018 so as to attract those things that you
hunger for and thirst after. The truth is that there are two kinds of people,
the Proactive and the Reactive. And do you know the difference? A Proactive
person acts in spite of limiting circumstances, while a Reactive person waits
for the perfect opportunity (which, you guessed it, almost never comes along). Most
people are reactive and which is why most people are "managing life"
instead of living it to the hilt. If the who you were in 2017 was the one that
"managed life" instead of living it, you now know the person you were
and so if you want to live life, if you really want to live the life you were
born to live, then the who you will become in 2018 should be the direct and exact
opposite of the who you were in 2017. Just do it and when 2018 ends and you
have started really living and enjoying your life, don't forget to thank me
then.
