Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First

Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 126

Title:          Let Go Of 'Should' If You Want To Be Successful

Ever found yourself saying “should” statements ?

e.g.
I should be rich/successful/healthy/smart.
I should go to the gym.
People should be nice to each other.
I should work harder.
Children should respect their parents.
I should not eat too much sweets/doughnuts.
He should be more understanding.
My children should listen to me.

Should statements is an ideal that you have in your mind.
It is not reality.
Nothing will be perfect or be the way you always want it to be.
Every time a should statement come up in your mind, understand and acknowledge that the reverse is true.

e.g People should not litter.
Fact : People are littering.

e.g There should be no wars.
Fact : Wars are taking place.

e.g I should be a millionaire.
Fact : I am not a millionaire.

Should statements make you feel obligated to do things. You are not doing things out of natural desire but out of obligations. It makes you feel conflicted. This is why you have problems with motivation.

When you use should statements a lot, it makes you feel angry, guilty, bitter and often frustrated.
Learn to let go of your “should” in life.
Reality is what it is and not what should be.

Take note of your day and how much should statements you are using. All these should statements lead to some suffering and pain in your life.

What is the alternative ?
Use Will or Must statements for actions you want to take.

e.g
- I must go to the gym.
- I will walk 30 minutes a day
- I will become successful and do that it takes to get there.
- I must travel to Japan by the end of this year.
- I must buy this car.

Once you let go of the should in your life, you will learn to follow your desires and understand your true Passion.

You will be less angry with the world and accept reality for what it is and you will not able to change it. The only thing you can change is yourself and how you think about the world around you.

Recognize it when a should statement comes up in your mind, and see how much better it is when you let go of it.

When you learn to not use should statements, you will see a paradigm shift. You may not fully appreciate it but once you try it you will understand what I mean.

Try it and let me know if you experience any change when you recognize it and not follow these statements.

Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 309 Title:           10 Life Lessons I Wish I Knew In My 20s Time speeds up the older I get. At this time of my life and looking back, there are a lot of things I may have done differently had I known what I know now. With experience comes wisdom, and I could have used some of that wisdom when I was in my 20s. But I have to put the "coulda,   woulda, shoulda" in the past. Instead of mulling over fears and regrets, I'm focused on the present and dreaming big for the future. It's essential for startup leaders and entrepreneurs to follow Grant Cardone's model for going 10X So thinking about that 10X mindset, I've come up with a list of things that I wish I'd learned earlier. Here are 10 life lessons I wish I knew in my 20s. 1. Challenge the status quo. You have to challenge the status quo...

Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirstEpisode307 Title:           Which Do You Have Money Or Excuses? Money or Excuses… You can’t have both. That’s a secret I learned early on. There are two types of people who want to make money online… Those who have excuses and those who have money. Maybe right now you’re in the set with the losers who have excuses? Such excuses as: “I don’t have the time.” “I need to get it perfect.” “I can’t write sales copy/do graphics/do xyz.” “I can’t afford xyz tool.” “I don’t like xyz so don’t want to do it.” “I’m worried what others will say.” “Whaaaaa whaaaaaaaa whaaaaaaaaa” You have a choice. You can have all those excuses and more… Or you can have MONEY. If you don’t want money then this post is a waste of time for you.  Go read the latest J K Rowling dross about w...
