Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First

Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 216

Title:          When Was The Last Time You Lost Your Motivation?

I guess the appropriate question would have been "have you ever lost your motivation?" but that would be too unassuming because it is known for a fact and as attested to by many researches, once in a while a very active person who is not given to self pity and who pushes himself to the extremes gets de-motivated by very little or simple things on the one hand or very strong resistance or opposition on the other hand.

So the question is "when was the last time you lost your motivation?" and a follow up question would be "how did you get out of it?"

Has life ever hit you so hard you wondered how you’d ever get out of the rut you’re in? or have you chewed more than you can swallow with your mouth so full and find out that you can neither swallow nor spew it out?

Well, it's always good to remind ourselves that the life we live is dynamic, it is not static and so we ought to be dynamic too in living it.
Being dynamic means that we must learn to bend and sway to the wind of life as it blows, however and wherever it blows. we have to keep in constant torch with the eternal laws of nature that nothing ever remains the same and that no condition is permanent.
Today we are winning and right there on top and tomorrow we might find ourselves right at the bottom as losers, whichever comes, we must have the equanimity of purpose to accept and work with or on it.

For those who know the Biblical story of Job, it is wise counsel to actually put into practice whenever we are faced with situations like Job faced.
Here was someone who was so rich that his fame went beyond his immediate dwelling place. He had hundreds of servants and hired hands tending to his sheep, cattle, oxen and all that. He had beautiful daughters and handsome sons but in all of that, he never allowed his wealth to get into his head and make him a monster and when disaster and calamity came calling in one single day as he lost all his wealth including even all his children, he declared "the Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the Name of the Lord".
Surely he would not been happy under such an extenuating circumstance but he chose not to be bitter over his loss but praised and blessed the Name of the Lord instead.

Above all, what you need to remember is that it’s ultimately your choice…

Yes, it’s your choice.
YOUR choice.
You are choosing right now.

And if you’re choosing…
to complain…
to blame…
to be stuck in the past…
to act like a victim…
to feel insecure…
to feel anger…
to feel hate…
to be naïve…
to ignore your intuition…
to ignore good advice…
to give up…

…then it’s time to choose differently.

But, let me also remind you that you are not alone. Generations of human beings in your family tree have chosen.

Human beings around the world have chosen.
We all have chosen at one time or another.

And we stand behind you now whispering:

Choose to let go.
Choose to be present.
Choose to be positive.
Choose to forgive yourself.
Choose to forgive others.
Choose to see your value.
Choose to see the possibilities.
Choose to find meaning.
Choose to prove you’re not a victim.

And of course, if there’s anything else I can do to assist you, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment on our blog.

Sincerely hoping you're ready to invest in yourself,

You can choose to find the motivation you need to take a step forward - just get in touch.

Wednesday                            6th June 2018 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 265 Title:           18 Things I Wish Someone Told Me When I Was 18 This morning I was reading a book at my favorite beach-side coffee shop when an 18-year-old kid sat down next to me and said, “That’s a great read, ain’t it?”  So we started chatting. Morning Vibes With Dr Jerry - The First-Episode 87/Tomorrow Is Not Promised

Thursday    30th November 2017 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 87 Title:          Tomorrow Is Not Promised, Live In The Now!! I have taken a look at how people postpone for tomorrow what they can do today and it really bothers me. It bothers me, not because I am not a believer in planning for tomorrow or even next tomorrow but because the thought process behind the action is that of saying that we have all the time in the world and so there's no reason to hurry. It is this thought process that has left many a man unable to fulfill their destinies and a whole number of others unable to finish the projects that they have started. The story is told of the man who was the head of the family and was expected to pass information about the family to the younger ones, but he kept pushing it forward. Each time the young ones asked for info...
