Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First

Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 223

Title:          The Cost Of Doing “Nothing”

I have known for a long time now that everything in life has its associated cost, every choice we make, every opportunity we take up, every career path we follow, every relationship we enter into, every journey we embark on and all that but that knowledge didn't really hit home until yesterday.

A client had come to consult me on certain issues in his life and we got talking. He gave me a brief summary of what his life has been like up until that moment and then in summarizing his submission he stated and I quote "Sir, I didn't know that doing nothing over a challenge one has can actually be very expensive"

And I couldn't agree any less with him. That statement gave me a topic for today's podcast and that's why I am sharing it with you.

There is a cost associated with doing nothing, with procrastinating, with practicing shifting cultivation, that cost is called "opportunity cost" by Economists and at the end it is quite expensive.

Take a quick second to embark on a worthwhile journey with me
Let’s imagine for a second your life is going to stay the same exact way as it is right now for the next 5 years.
You’ll make the same amount of money.
You’ll have the same relationships.
Most of all, you’ll have the same struggles with finding happiness, being more positive, and gaining clarity and motivation for your goals.
And they won’t EVER go away.
You’ll always struggle to think more positively, take focused action on what matters most to you, and build meaningful, deep relationships.

I want you to vividly picture what that would look like.
How would you feel?
What would you see when you look in the mirror?
What would your friends and family think of you?
I know it may be painful to think about…but it is important to understand there is a cost associated with doing NOTHING.
I am not trying to be harsh or make you feel bad.

But I do know that for anyone to really be happy and enjoy  purposeful living, it is important that they realize that sometimes the best way to improve their lives is to want more out of life.

If you don’t decide to take action and make a change then how can you expect things to improve?

The scary thing about the picture we just painted is that, that  scenario is more realistic than you may realize.

Just think, how long have you wanted to get back to a happier, simpler life you love waking up to?

If you keep doing what you’ve been doing for the past year, 2 years, or 5 years and nothing has changed…then how can you expect the next few years to be any different?

Today, I want to invite you to do something about it. To lovingly take control and make a real change.
Here’s how to do it:
After going through this write up and you find yourself already dancing around in this pattern, then do one of three things - drop a comment on this platform with your issue and we would get right back to you or pick up your phone and just dial our hotline and someone will be there to talk with you, or remember that we are just an email away, so shoot us an email and we would be right back in your inbox before you could say Jack.

Don’t get stuck in your current patterns.

Most people view paying for a solution as a cost. Yet they rarely realize there is also a cost to doing nothing.

But you’re not most people. I know that by simply being a reader of self-improvement material you’re different and willing to grow and improve.

It’s time to make a change.

Until I come your way again, this is #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst

Wednesday                            6th June 2018 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 265 Title:           18 Things I Wish Someone Told Me When I Was 18 This morning I was reading a book at my favorite beach-side coffee shop when an 18-year-old kid sat down next to me and said, “That’s a great read, ain’t it?”  So we started chatting. Morning Vibes With Dr Jerry - The First-Episode 87/Tomorrow Is Not Promised

Thursday    30th November 2017 Morning Vibes With Dr. Jerry - the First Hello and welcome to #MorningVibesWithDrJerryTheFirst-Episode 87 Title:          Tomorrow Is Not Promised, Live In The Now!! I have taken a look at how people postpone for tomorrow what they can do today and it really bothers me. It bothers me, not because I am not a believer in planning for tomorrow or even next tomorrow but because the thought process behind the action is that of saying that we have all the time in the world and so there's no reason to hurry. It is this thought process that has left many a man unable to fulfill their destinies and a whole number of others unable to finish the projects that they have started. The story is told of the man who was the head of the family and was expected to pass information about the family to the younger ones, but he kept pushing it forward. Each time the young ones asked for info...
